Buying is easy at Auction.
First you need to register at the office where a bid number will be issued to you. This number will be yours for all future auctions so you do not need to register again.
During viewing note the lot number and check the condition of the item/s you are interested in. This is important as you must be satisfied with the condition, functionality and completeness of any lots before you bid.
When the lot comes up for auction you bid on the item. If you are successful the auctioneer will ask you for your bid number.
Once you have bid on all your lots you can pay for them at the office. There is commission and VAT to pay on top of the bid amount i.e.
Bid Amount plus 17.5% commission plus VAT on the commission = Total
Your invoice can then be presented to one of the porters who will gather your items together for you.
